Siddartha School Project in Ladakh, Northern India. Founded in 1994 by Geshe Lobzang Tsetan , a Ladakhi educator, and a board of Harvard University graduate students to improve the quality of education for the children in the village of Stok. The mission of SSP is to provide a school curriculum which honors traditional Ladakhi culture while providng full instruction in the core subjects of a western style education. Only a visit to Ladakh can one see the extreme need of these kids in this remote region of teh Himalaya, and by taking part in this Motorcycling Expedition with Himalayan Roadrunners, a portion of the tour cost will go directly to the Siddartha School Project.
