Most of the tours operated by HRR are on new late model Royal Enfield Bullet 500cc Motorcycles, still manufactured in Madras, India at the same factory that Royal Enfield of Redditch, England set up before going out of business in the late 1960's. The 500s are of single cylinder, overhead valve design, with 4 speed gearbox and a 7" twin leading shoe front brake. They are equipped with crash bars and leather saddle bags. Well balanced, plenty of power, and fun to drive, enthusiasts for these Old British Singles will be amazed at the reliability of the Bullet that has proven itself over the world's highest motorable passes.

All HRR tours are backed up by a support truck accompanied by our Sherpa's and over-the road team with adequate space for luggage, spare parts, camping equipment (Ladakh Tours) and seating for sore or tired riders.
